What is nashville like?

Downtown Nashville is clean for the most part and has lots of bars and nightlife but is not the safest place. I would not live in Nashville itself. There are places outside of Nashville that are nice places to live.

Mt. Juliet, or Lebanon, Belle Mead or Franklin are good places to live. There are others.

Things to do around Nashville are far between. It takes time to get to most things. There are bars and movies and outdoor life. I lived in Lebanon near Nashville. It took about one hour to get to Nashville because traffic is so bad. But I loved living there and probably will go back someday. Franklin and Belle Mead areas are good areas but more expensive but have nice shopping areas. Mt. Juliet is building up. Lebanon is getting a little more country but you can find a little land with your housing. Housing costs vary but you don't get alot of house for your buck but if you look you can find a few nice ones with good square footage. its hard to find houses with basements because most houses are built rocky foundations.

Alot of houses have carports instead of garages or just one car garages but again you can look around and find some with two car garages.

The weather is nice though. Depending on where you live you might have to take you trash to the dump station yourself. I thought this was really weird. There are plenty of restaurants depending on where you live. People are cautious drivers unlike alot of places I have lived. Overall if you are moving there its a great place to live just don't move right in Nashville.
