My parents moved down to Gallatin,TN last year for a job transfer. They have no money really and haven't gone out to experience Nashville yet. They've driven down the busy downtown to see but never gotten out of the car. Their anniversary is Jan. 9 and I want to book them a hotel and get them in a restaurant-- but I have never been there. I am looking for something really nice, but not like insanely expensive. Something that gives the Nashville flair and ambiance, but also is romantic and will be a great experience for them. I prefer the hotel be close to the downtown area so they could walk or take one of those horsedrawn carriage rides they have been telling me about.... please- help me! I know nothing!
Thank you so much!Nashville, TN awesome hotel %26amp; restaurant for anniversary?
Zola is one of the most romantic restaurants in Nashville, it's constantly winning awards for best food, and the entrees average $20 - $25: http://restaurantzola.com/
I think your best bet, to give them a great "package deal" on a hotel, would be Union Station: http://www.unionstationhotelnashville.co鈥?/a> It's actually a restored train station, they have entertainment packages to include show tickets along with your hotel room, they're right downtown, and they don't cost an arm and a leg. I think the whole package (room plus show tickets) for any choice is less than $200. This hotel is just less than two miles from the restaurant I recommended... sort of a straight shot up one road.
I'm sure if you call the hotel, they'd be happy to help you arrange a carriage ride... so there are plenty of options, depending on what you feel they'd enjoy the most. It's a great idea. I hope it all works out!Nashville, TN awesome hotel %26amp; restaurant for anniversary?
Gaylord opryland Hotel has a lot of nice restaurants and beautiful rooms. The Hermitage Hotel is the Cadillac of hotels ( 5 star %26amp; 5 diamond one in Nashville) pricey but well worth it. We gave our friends the Sunday Brunch package and it ran about $400.00 for the night and the sunday brunch.
