Where to eat good southern food in Nashville, TN?

We're going to Nashville this Summer...it's not our first time there but we don't really know much about the restaurants... there are way too many tourist traps, so it's hard to pick...

I love Nashville! My son lives there. So when I visit it's usually eating at his home but you can do like Rachel Ray does on her TV program $40.00 a day, ask the locals when you get there.Where to eat good southern food in Nashville, TN?
The Mad Platter on 6th ave is excellent, also Sperry's on harding road and now in the cool springs area



Monell's in the Germantown area has a great boarding house type lunch
