We are on a backpackers budget and would like to stay for one night in Nashville. I've been researching but it is not clear where the best place to stay to be in walking distance of the bars/pubs/restaurant scene. It seems to be somewhere downtown.
Does anyone know of any cheap hotels around these areas?
A web search has indicated that Econo Lodge or Rodeway Inn fit our budget but I can't get a sense if they are walking distance. Does anyone know? Or can anyone suggest alternatives that are close to the action?Cheap Nashville hotel/hostel that is walking distance to the nightlife/action?

there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely show you great hotels at the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it's very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.
