Dixie Stampede Soup?

I am trying to find a recipe for the creamy vegetable soup at Dixie Stampede. My husband and I love it! Does anyone have a recipe that tastes similar to Dixie Stampede's soup?Dixie Stampede Soup?

Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede Restaurant recipe. Note: this is a clone type recipe, but tastes like the original.



1 qt. chicken broth

1/2 c. frozen peas

1/2 c. whole kernel corn, frozen

1/2 c. canned green beans

1/2 c. carrots, grated

1/2 tsp. garlic powder

1/2 tsp. onion powder

1 1/2 c. heavy cream



Fully cook all vegetables individually %26amp; then grind into small pieces. Bring broth, seasonings %26amp; vegetables to a boil %26amp; then add the whipping cream. Add salt %26amp; pepper to taste. Time to make: 1 1/2 hours. Serves 6



NOTE: may add other desired vegetables. Also, for thickening add about 4 heaping T. flour, OR 4 oz. instant mashed potatoes.

1/2 cup peas - cooked

1/2 cup whole kernel sweet corn - cooked

1/2 cup canned green beans - cooked

1/2 cup grated carrot - cooked

1 qt. chicken broth

1/2 tsp. garlic powder

1/2 tsp. onion powder

salt and pepper - to taste

1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream



-Mash cooked vegetables into small pieces.

-Bring all ingredients, except cream, to a boil.
