My husband and I are going to Pigeon Forge next weekend and are looking for some advice?

We will be staying at the Inn at Christmas Place. We both are looking forward to shopping but to be quite honest have no interest in Dixie Stampede/Dollywood events. We are a young couple just looking to relax and shop and enjoy some nice dinners.



Could you suggest any other activities or places to go during our weekend stay? We are not really outdoor people either. The Inn at Christmas Place in Pigeon Forge Tennessee is beautiful -- you'll love it. And, even better, it's near a Starbucks.



You might want to visit Tanger Outlet Center for shopping -- lots of stores and restaurants. Or walk around Downtown Gatlinburg -- also lots of stores, restaurants, miniature golf, etc. Also near a Starbucks :-)

hey, i think it will be very easy for you to have a great time. theres so many places to hike and just relax. google would be pretty useful, but honestly. im sure if you get bored, anyone there would give you some quick ideas. and the spontaneity of that could be fun in it self: )



dollywood is a great place, and is my favorite theme park i have ever been to. i never would have guessed from a place called "dollywood" but i would for sure recommend it !

We went there for our Honeymoon and rented a cabin between Gatlinberg and Pigeon Forge. It is hard if you are not outdoors or looking for the shows. I would say to at least try one of each since you are there. They will have flyers and coupons, etc. You can look and see what you can experience. We went on a helicopter ride. We did not go to Dollywood. We went to the store and ate there. We did do some of the shows. For us, it was more to experience new things together, just because we had not tried them. You can get your picture taken in the old time as there are a few of those places around there. You can go to the Aquarium. You can go shopping around there in Gaitlinberg. You can go on a ski lift to see the sights around there. There are lots of shops around and lots of places to eat. Have fun and have the attitude, that even if you don't enjoy what you do, enjoy each other. People are friendly there and can give you advice as to what they liked too.
