What else in florida?

we're going to orlando in june and we have the usual tickets plus discovery cove. i would like to go to a theme night like 'pirates' or 'Dixie stampede', maybe the everglades or something like that. what would you recomend as a 'must do' while we are there? What else in florida?
I don't recommend the everglades right now because there's been so much drought, plus a few wildfires in the area.

As far as dinner shows, I've always liked Medieval Times. It's pretty fun. It just depends on your taste, though. They're all well done.

For a side trip, you might consider going over to the Space Center. It's only about an hour from Orlando, and it's fun to go through the tour, see where they launch the shuttle, and everything.

Have fun!
The Ripley's Believe It or Not thing is good. What else in florida?
space centre

and aquarium
you must go to busch gardens fantastic day out and great rides. go to the everglades and go on a airboat

enjoy
Daytona Beach has great beaches. You can drive on the beach part of the way as well. The Speedway is another point to take in. ST. augustine has the oldest city, with an old fort you can tour. All locations are within an hour driving distance of Orlando.

Have fun
we did a day trip to the everglades which included a airboat ride then a trip to the beach and a boat trip out to see the dolphins playing it was great but it involves a lot of travelling and was a very long day.we also did the pirates dinner the food was awful and the show wasnt much better.i would not recommend it.
Wekiva Springs or Rock Springs are fun.. You sit in an inner tube and drift down the river. Plus it gives you a chance to see the real Florida.
What James said
GatorLand, its been around for years, Im a born and raised Floridian and I remember gatorland like it was yesterday.
Go to the La Nouba Cirque Du Soleil show. WOW! It is really awesome. http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/ent鈥?/a>

The Dixie Stampede is okay. I went to the one in TN and it was fun, but doesn't compare to La Nouba in my opinion.

Kennedy Space Center is within driving distance so you could go over and see the space shuttles and all that. Even better would be if there is a launch to watch!

Also the "our Body" exhibit at the Orlando Science Center is really cool. http://www.osc.org/specialevent/ourbody.鈥?/a>
