Looking for a good restaurant in Nashville while passing through?

A couple of friends and I will be passing through Nashville on Thursday May 28th around lunch time. We are looking for some suggestions of good places to have lunch (preferably in Nashville). We are traveling down I-24 to I-75 headed for Atlanta. We are looking for a place that is not a chain resturant. Maybe a place that you might find a county or rock and roll star in. Any suggestions at all would be great!Looking for a good restaurant in Nashville while passing through?
I think your best bet to find a restaurant that fits what you are looking for in the area that you are thinking is to check out an online yellow pages!! You can find a restaurant that serves the type of food you like, specialties, features like live music, and even atmosphere such as family friendly : %26gt; Hope that helps!Looking for a good restaurant in Nashville while passing through?
This doesn't quite fit your request, but a favorite place for me when I'm on the road in that area, is the Davy Crockett Tavern...I think it's at exit 110 (or close to it) on I-24. There are a few of these in Tennessee, but it's not a national chain.

It's East of Nashville...just one exit away from Manchester where Bonnarro is held. The food has always been good and the service friendly, and prices are in-line.

I don't think you'd ever see a rock or country star there, but it's a good place for a good meal.
