Especially in winter when it's cold and you only want to walk a little distance at a time (under half a mile)? Any names of good bars with music would be great.Is City House restaurant in Nashville, TN within walking distance of any fun bars with music?
If I were you, after dinner I'd get a cab to 2nd Ave. and Broadway. From there you can walk to a great number of bars, honky tonks, dance clubs etc. that offer a variety of music types. There are a lot of places to explore and a lot of street activity. Fun!

I agree with the cab to downtown broadway! There is Crazy Horse Saloon, Tootsies, Cadillac Ranch, Hard Rock Cafe, Tin Roof is a bit out of the way, but still a memorable experience. You cant miss with going downtown, everything is there!
